During the “Swahili Esports Champions” competition, SAGES organized the “Swahili Esports Champions Business Meetings,” a side event focused on the burgeoning esports sector in Africa. This gathering dedicated a day to professional meetings and discussions around esports.

This event was a unique opportunity for stakeholders in the African esports scene to meet, exchange, and share ideas, with a particular emphasis on developing entrepreneurship in a field that is gaining global significance. Special attention was given to female entrepreneurship in the gaming and esports world in Africa.

With the participation of around ten guests from various sectors of this flourishing ecosystem, the event facilitated comprehensive dialogue on the challenges, successes, and future prospects of female entrepreneurship in the African esports landscape.
